We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dispatch Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring all packed fruit is accurately documented, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining product quality and traceability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including preparing and loading customer orders.
  • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks safely to move pallets and stock.
  • Use PackManager software for product labelling, order processing, and dispatch documentation.
  • Organize and rotate stock to maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement and order completion.
  • Work closely with QC and packing teams to ensure correct labelling and documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in dispatch and storage areas.
  • Follow all health, safety, and food handling procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a fruit packhouse, warehouse, or dispatch environment (preferred).
  • Experience using PackManager software
  • Forklift licence
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet dispatch schedules.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and good teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
