About the position:
Available for an immediate start, this position is open to part time or full time for the right candidate. Based in our Launceston office with the option to negotiate flexible or remote working arrangements this position is permanant and ongoing.
You will work autonomously to manage the accounts payable & accounts receivable functions of our business. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential as you will be responsible for the integrity of our accounting data and reporting.
This position supports all aspects of our business operations and therefore consists of a range of data entry tasks, order processing and tracking, ticket management, inventory control, cash flow management and other administrative tasks as required.
Duties include:
- Manage Accounts Receivable: invoicing, client enquiries, bank reconciliation.
- Manage Accounts Payable: processing supplier invoices and payments, reconciling credit card transactions.
- Business and Financial Reporting
- General Administration Tasks
Position requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
(Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts administration or bookkeeping) - Experience with Xero, or similar accounting software is also essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Outlook and Excel
- Experience in a similar professional office or industry requiring well developed communication and interpersonal service skills.
- Organisational skills, attention to detail and efficient with time management and proritisational skills and sufficient experience to demonstrate the ability to problem solve and manage fluctuating workloads.
