About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and dynamic Administration and Yard Support member to join our Launceston branch. This is a Full Time position reporting to the Branch Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls, processing orders, and addressing customer inquiries.
  • Greet and serve 'walk-in customers and guests
  • Assist in converting incoming phone and email inquiries into Branch Sales.
  • General Yard duties
  • Yard operational support – filling cylinders, loading/unloading vehicles
  • Provide support to Yard supervisor and Branch manager relating to daily operational requirements
  • Exceed customer service expectations by providing exceptional support to operations.
  • Address customer queries and manage accounts promptly and professionally.
  • Offer customers accurate product, service, and procedural information.
  • Ensure precise setup of new customer accounts.
  • Provide support to Operations and Sales teams.

Skills & Experience

  • MR licence advantageous
  • Forklift licence advantageous
  • Technology system acumen
  • Proven experience in an inbound call centre environment, managing high call volumes.
  • Possess a professional and friendly telephone manner, as the role primarily involves telephone-based communication.
  • Strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
