The Practice at Clem Jones Centre is growing. Established in 2024, it is a GP owned, community focused medical clinic, located within the extensive sports and recreation campus of Clem Jones Centre in Carina, on southside of Brisbane. The Practice integrates health care through our GP's collaboration with co-located allied health professionals including physiotherapists, exercise physiologist, psychologists, dietitians, and other medical specialists. This comprehensive approach caters to individuals of all ages, ensuring holistic and innovative healthcare. Our range of services includes preventative health care, chronic disease management, sports and injury care, paediatrics, men's and women's health, and more.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Administrator based in Carina. The Medical Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, managing phone calls, performing reception duties, coordinating medical records, and handling billings and payment collection. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient operation of the practice.

Qualifications

  • Appointment Scheduling and Receptionist Duties using BestPractice and Automed systems
  • Proficiency in Phone Etiquette
  • Knowledge of Medicine and Medicare Billing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Prior experience in the medical administration field is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy healthcare environment
