Responsibilities

Your new role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Brisbane based casual Survey Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently studying for their certificate and looking to build a long-term career in surveying. As a Survey Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors, assisting in various field and office tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform various types of surveying tasks both field and office based within a given environment
  • Deliver accurate and verified results in a professional manner to the client
  • Perform data processing and management tasks
  • Assist with document preparation, including location of existing survey control, safety documentation
  • Assist in the development of new techniques and procedures
Qualifications

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to be currently studying towards a certificate in surveying along with:

  • Basic knowledge of surveying principles and practices (preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Possess a valid Class C Drivers licence
