What You Will Do
As a Surveyor, you will:
- Lead and manage end-to-end survey functions for assigned projects.
- Deliver accurate and efficient survey services using total stations, GPS, laser scanning and other modern technologies.
- Coordinate and mentor junior staff and Graduate Surveyors.
- Liaise directly with clients, ensuring exceptional communication, quality outcomes and project satisfaction.
- Prepare and review survey deliverables and oversee compliance with WHS and technical standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing methodologies and suggesting positive change.
- Participate in business development activities and client relationship management.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor of Surveying or Diploma of Surveying, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years' experience in land, engineering or cadastral surveying.
- Working knowledge of topographic, laser scanning, cadastral, plan preparation, and control surveys.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects with the ability to prioritise and lead.
- Skilled in 12D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office; experience with point cloud processing, BIM or Revit is advantageous.
- Ideally registered (or eligible to register) with the Surveyors Board of Queensland.
- A current driver's licence.
- Australian and NZ citizen or visa with no working restrictions
