About Us

Legend Institute is a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO) dedicated to delivering quality vocational education and training that aligns with current industry standards. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Trainer and Assessor to deliver Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying (CPC33020 or equivalent).

This role is ideal for a passionate tradesperson who enjoys sharing their skills and helping learners succeed in the building and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess units from the CPC33020 Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying qualification.
  • Develop, update, and maintain training and assessment resources.
  • Ensure compliance with the Standards for RTOs and Legend Institute policies.
  • Mentor and support learners throughout their training journey.
  • Engage with the construction industry to maintain training relevance and industry standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122).
  • Trade qualification in Bricklaying and/or Blocklaying (Certificate III or higher).
  • Current industry experience demonstrating vocational competency.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development in both industry and VET.

Documents Required

All trainers are required to provide the following documents for their trainer file:

  • Current CV/Resume.
  • Copies of qualifications and USI transcript.
  • Verification of qualifications, particularly if obtained through RPL.
  • Industry currency evidence, which may include:
  • Employer reference letter, or
  • ASIC documentation and recent invoices if self-employed.
  • Trainer Matrix mapping competencies to each unit.
  • Evidence of professional development activities (VET and industry-related).
