About Us

Baker Jorgensen Lawyers is a boutique law firm based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in Conveyancing, Commercial and Property Law, and Wills and Estates.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join our property team full-time. You'll be part of a supportive and professional environment where you can thrive, feel valued, and enjoy building genuine, lasting relationships with our clients.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of residential conveyancing with confidence
  • Provide professional and personable communication with clients, agents, solicitors, banks, and other key contacts
  • Provide exceptional client service, reflecting our commitment to care and quality
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and firm procedures
  • Use Smokeball for file management and documentation
  • Complete settlements through PEXA accurately and efficiently

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial experience in residential conveyancing (Queensland)
  • Ability to manage files independently
  • Strong communication skills, including face-to-face client interaction
  • A positive attitude focused on client service and maintaining and growing referral relationships
  • A reliable, professional, and friendly approach and ability to work as a team player
  • Proficiency in Smokeball Legal Software and PEXA
