Our client is looking for experiencedSenior Payroll Officer to start in a well run and organised payroll process based in You need to be bright, energetic, show great aptitude and a desire to hit the ground running

The position requires someone with full function payroll experience, where they will be responsible for payroll process as part of a team. 

Duties are outlined but not limited to the following:Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Officer will sit within a team. You will have responsibility of supporting the payroll team administering and processing payroll covering  High Volume Payroll on a fortnightly basis.

  • Processing fortnightly payroll for up to 1000 employees
  • Interpreting relevant awards and multiple enterprise bargaining agreements
  • High Volume Payroll Processing Knowledge
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records
  • Terminations
  • Maintaining leave, sickness and overtime reports
  • Answering queries
  • Payroll reporting to meet statutory obligations
  • Experience paying superannuation

Skills Required:

  • Humanforce & Chris21 experience is a highly desirable
  • At least 5years' end to end payroll processing experience
  • Must have strong Excel Skills - Pivot Table & V- LOOKUPS
  • Understanding, interpreting and applying relevant legislation
  • Calculation of payroll tax and superannuation
