A little bit about the role

  • Provide administrative and project support to the Governance and Legal department including purchase orders, payments, correspondence, records management, and meeting coordination
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries professionally and efficiently
  • Assist with civic event organisation, Councillor expense processing, and departmental reporting
  • Maintain systems and procedures to ensure compliance with Council policies and legislative requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and support the department's strategic goals

A little bit about you

To succeed in this role you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration, preferably in governance or a similar environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a proactive and professional approach
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Oracle Finance is highly desirable
