We are a public practice accounting firm with a dedicated team of professionals who service a range of clients in various industries. Located 20 minutes from the CBD in Ascot Vale, we have an opportunity for a Administrative Assistant to join our team. To be successful in this role you will be reliable, proactive and able to work independently, demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills and be eager to develop and learn. Our software mix includes Xero, Xero Practice Manager, BGL360, CAS360, ATO Smart Docs, DocuSign and Microsoft suite.  Salary will be determined based on experience.

Qualifications & experience

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Great time management skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with cloud-based software

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Reception attendance and telephone interaction
  • General administrative support
  • Proactively managing debtors and creditors
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Support partners with general practice management
  • Collation of client information and billing
  • Other support tasks including office maintenance
