Summary:
The Corporate Sales Team Lead will spearhead our sales initiatives for Workstations, Servers, NAS, and MSP Services within the IT sector in Australia. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by building and managing a high-performing sales team, fostering relationships with Universities, Government Agencies, and Medium to Large businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background to effectively address complex use cases and deliver tailored solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the corporate sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market presence in the IT hardware sector.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, including Universities, Government Agencies, and Medium to Large businesses.
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team to ensure a deep understanding of product offerings.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT hardware sales, with a focus on Workstations, Servers, NAS, and MSP Services.
- Proven experience managing a sales team and driving successful sales strategies.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT products and solutions, with the ability to understand complex use cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong client relationships.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
