We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Systems Administrator to join our Sydney campus. This is a critical technical role focused on supporting and maintaining our IT infrastructure, systems, and services across all campuses. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our technology environment, from managing servers, networks, and user accounts to supporting cloud platforms and contributing to ICT projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting and maintaining all technology infrastructure.
Providing service to all hardware break-fix requests, laptops (DELL/MAC).
Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint and server and workstation patching.
Administrating Moodle site.
Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practice.
Resolution of escalated ICT service issues within the domains of network, Cloud, VM, Citrix and Microsoft related technologies and supporting key ICT Project initiatives.
Perform and test routine system backups and restores.
Build and deploy new servers on the network as needed.
Practice server asset management, including maintenance of server component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
Manage and enrich third party relationship with vendors, suppliers, and support contractors to secure software products and services.
Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers.
Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, encryption systems, and appliances security systems.
Skills and Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience in system administration, network support, and infrastructure maintenance
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Active Directory
Proficiency in Moodle administration
Student Management System (SMS) familiarity
RTO & CRICOS compliance awareness
Proficiency in Hardware support (Windows & Mac)
Proficiency in Cloud, Virtual Machines (VM), Citrix
Proficiency in Server maintenance, backups & deployment
User accounts, permissions, storage management
IT asset management & documentation
Vendor & third-party coordination
Strategic IT planning & project support
Strong communication & collaboration skills
Interstate travel flexibility
Job Type: Full-time and Permanent
Hours: 38 Hours per week
Salary: Minimum AUD$95,000 per year plus superannuation
Work Authorisation: Permitted to work unrestricted
