We are seeking Bookkeeper/Administrator

Farmer Jacks Supermarkets are seeking a bookkeeper / administrator to join our team to manage some of the day-to-day bookkeeping and office duties necessary to run our businesses.

We operate a chain of 12 supermarkets and related Fresh Produce and Meat distribution businesses.

The administration office is located in our Canning Vale facility which houses operational staff and one other administrator.

This is a full-time position.

The position reports to the Group Financial Controller and will receive support and guidance at the outset from the existing Administrator and the Group Financial Controller.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Accounts Payable (all aspects)
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Managing employee records
  • Management of PAYG and Payroll Tax
  • Processing expense invoices
  • Maintaining integrity of General Ledger
  • Reconciliation of EFTPOS
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Production of weekly reports
  • General administrative duties

Applicants must have excellent English and be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email and in writing.

A good working knowledge of MYOB and Excel is essential.

This role is based in an office where one other person is undertaking a similar role, and applicants need to ultimately be able to work autonomously with the knowledge that assistance and guidance will always be at hand.
