**An opportunity exists for a Legal Secretary to join the team at our head office in Canning Vale.**

**In this role, you will perform a range of secretarial, clerical, and administrative tasks to support our legal department and Executive team.**

**Other responsibilities include**:

- Preparing legal reports to the executive team, briefing notes on ongoing legal matters and correspondence, and reviewing work for typographical and grammatical errors
- Liaising with external legal representatives on ongoing legal matters.
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail,
- Maintaining customer and vendor records including correspondence of legal agreements.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to inquiries regarding customer accounts.
- Taking instructions on amendments to letters and other corporate documents on behalf of executives.
- Implementing management directives and update internal corporate documents. Maintain records of meetings as needed for board meetings.
- Handling bookkeeping of transactions associated with legal
- Liaising with other staff to arrange meetings, and to gain and provide information surrounding corporate governance and matters that may require external legal advice.
- Maintaining appointment diaries for legal matters, including court attendance and
- Greeting suppliers and ascertaining the nature of business. Assist with directing visitors to appropriate persons
- Highlighting any discussion points regarding terms and conditions that executives are required to discuss.
- Assisting with drafting agreements and other legal documents for review.
- LLB undergraduate experience in a commercial legal practice or at least a current enrolment in Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Grad. Diploma in Legal Studies
- 2 - 5 year’s experience in a similar role
- High level attention to detail
- Outstanding experience and knowledge in Adobe Acrobat and the MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment effectively, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in a busy and high-pressure team environment
- Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and be self-motivated
- Exceptional time management skills
- The ability to juggle scheduling and a high-volume workload.
