The Opportunity:

Based in Sydney, we have an opportunity for an individual to join the Schneider team in the capacity of Service Delivery Manager. Reporting to the Regional Services Manager you will build upon the branch reputation for excellent customer service and satisfaction. Leading a team of service technicians, engineers and other specialists with application knowledge in the areas of HVAC, Controls, Energy Monitoring, Management and Efficiency, Networking, Security, Cyber Security and Systems Integration.

Whilst additionally identifying opportunities to build upon in the areas of field quotes and small works. It will be a challenging but highly rewarding position.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Service & maintenance delivered by your team with a focus on client relationships and service delivery excellence.
  • Supporting the development and progression of all people within your team
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key customers to drive recurring work – maintenance, callouts, field quotes & SMWX.
  • Maintaining a high level of communication with staff to foster loyalty and retention whilst ensuring safe work practice compliance/safety, and performance.
  • Ensuring maintenance schedules in place for contracted sites are completed and closed within the month allocated.
  • Running operational meetings with customers and technicians to review and follow up maintenance status, works in progress, outstanding quotes and outstanding invoices.
  • Managing and delivering on service operations' key metrics including utilization, maintenance commitment and NPS.
  • Working closely with the team of service engineers to provide technical advice and support.

  • Tertiary/trade qualifications in an engineering related discipline or Tertiary qualification in business.
  • Exposure to contract and portfolio management including financial responsibility and key deliverables.
  • Understand technical operations of customers site and offer value-added solutions/proposals for improvement.
  • Have strong communication skills and will be expected to deliver value propositions.
  • Support tender submissions, presentations, trainings to both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators are met across the team.
  • Excellent report writing and delivery skills.
  • Strong PC skills in Excel; Word & Office.
  • Sound organisation and time management skills.
  • High level view of NABERS, Energy, Water & Indoor Environment Quality (Preferred).
  • High level view of Building Management Systems (BMS) (Preferred).
  • High level understanding of Information Technology (IT) principles such as cybersecurity, networks and servers (Preferred).
