About The Role
The Manager Contracting plays a key leadership role in the effective delivery of contract management and grant program administration across a diverse portfolio of funding initiatives.

You will lead a team responsible for managing contracts, assessing risk, processing payments and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks. The role focuses on building robust systems, policies and procedures that promote transparency, accountability and efficiency in the delivery of grant funding.

As a strategic leader, you will drive continuous improvement and reform initiatives to strengthen governance, streamline processes and support the State Government's broader economic and regional development objectives. You will also work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered effectively and deliver meaningful outcomes for communities and industries.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who enjoys leading teams, building strong partnerships and delivering operational excellence in a complex and fast-paced environment.

About You
You are a highly motivated and confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. You have:

  • Demonstrated experience in contract management, grants administration or related governance roles.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire high performance.
  • Proven capability in risk management, financial oversight and compliance monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on driving improvement and results.
