About The Role
Are you a hands-on technician or tradesperson ready to transition off the tools and into a technical sales environment? This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your practical know-how in an office-based role where your problem-solving skills and mechanical understanding will truly shine.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll report to the Sales Manager and play a key role in assisting customers to identify the right pumping solutions for their needs. Your day will include managing warm leads, handling technical enquiries, preparing and following up quotes, and supporting the wider sales function to deliver strong commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively follow up on warm leads and customer enquiries
- Provide technical support and guidance via phone and email
- Prepare, qualify, and manage quotes efficiently and accurately
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues
- Support the broader sales and service teams with administrative and technical tasks
- Continuously develop your knowledge of products and applications
Skills and Experience
You don't need direct experience with pumps — full training will be provided. What matters most is a genuine interest in learning, a solid mechanical or trade background, and strong communication skills.
You Will Ideally Have
- A trade or technical background (e.g. plumbing, mechanical, fabrication, maintenance, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical understanding of mechanical systems
- Confidence communicating with customers and explaining technical information clearly
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset and willingness to learn
- The desire to move into an office-based technical sales role
