We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented Technical Representative to join our Food & Beverage Division in Adelaide.

Reporting directly to our Sales and Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for servicing and developing the existing customer base as well as gaining new customers.

The five key requirements of this role:

  1. Understanding customer needs
  2. Selling solutions and adding value to the customer
  3. Building relationships and Relationship management
  4. Developing the existing customer base.
  5. Energetic person that thrives on gaining new business, actively identifying and partnering with new customers
  6. Well adverse with sales force

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

A proven sales experience with the ability to manage customer and company expectations

A proven history of business development in a food industry setting

An aptitude for problem-solving with the ability to determine solutions for customers

A strong sense of business acumen

A strong technical background

A hands-on approach whilst in the field

Flexibility in order to meet and exceed customer expectations

The ability to prioritise and apply good time management skills

Strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong negotiation skills in assisting to close a contract

Tender management experience is also advantageous

We would expect applicants to have had previous experience in either food manufacturing, quality assurance, agriculture or engineering fields associated with food or agricultural industries. Although not essential, tertiary qualifications in related areas would be highly regarded.
