Synopsis
A unique and exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and results-driven
Program Manager
to join Land Services SA in an exciting new strategic initiative. This pivotal role offers the chance to influence the foundational stages of an innovative collaboration, playing a key part in shaping its operational and strategic trajectory.

Based in Adelaide, this role is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract in the first instance, and part-time basis across three or four days per week, negotiable with the successful candidate.

About The Role
Reporting directly to the Executive Officer, the Program Manager will be instrumental in ensuring best practice governance, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of high-impact initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned program or project leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment and is passionate about building sustainable partnerships and operational excellence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational setup and early-stage development of the new strategic initiative.
  • Foster effective collaboration and alignment across partner organisations, acting as a key liaison to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Coordinate governance and board reporting activities, ensuring timely, clear, and strategic communication with stakeholders.
  • Drive the execution and monitoring of key activities, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and milestones.
  • Monitor risks, manage dependencies, and proactively remove barriers to progress across programs of work.

About You
You are an experienced program or project management professional with:

  • Proven experience in strategic program delivery, preferably in complex or cross-sector environments.
  • Strong understanding of governance processes and board reporting standards.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and perspectives.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the agility to operate in a start-up or early-stage venture setting.
  • A background in property, government, infrastructure, or related sectors is desirable but not essential.
