About the role
The Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing the strategic planning, delivery and evaluation of a critical change program of complex projects that deliver high-value, impactful results within budget and in alignment with TAFE SA strategic objectives.
The role involves strategic oversight, and ensures the alignment of multiple, interconnected statewide projects, managing cross-project dependencies, optimising resource allocations, and fosters a cohesive leadership approach that drives cultural, and mindset shifts aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
Key Outcomes include, but are not limited to
- Lead the strategic planning, development, delivery and evaluation of the Operating Principles and Model transformation program of complex projects ensuring the delivery of high-value, impactful results within budget and in alignment with the TAFE SA goals.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise on Organisational Change and Business Improvement acting as a 'single point of excellence'. Ensure organisational changes align to an enterprise model and do not fall back to siloed or isolated engagement of external experts and drive change enablement maturity in leaders and TAFE SA staff
- Oversee, coordinate and conduct a range of complex activities for the delivery of multiple interconnected statewide projects, including leading, directing and guiding multi-disciplinary project teams, managing significant resources and maintaining program momentum to drive successful outcomes. Deliver a phased plan that provides clarity and confidence to executives, Directors, and stakeholders.
- Lead the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of strategies and plans to continuously align program goals with the organisation's long-term strategy including effectively prioritising projects to drive value for the student, industry and community.
- Lead and oversee project risk, governance and assurance matters including leading impact assessments and the proactive identification, management and mitigation of risks and issues.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
