We're seeking an experienced Employment Services professional to join Jobs Statewide as our new Community & Programs Manager. You'll play a key role in developing, coordinating and evaluating programs that create meaningful impact for our participants across South Australia.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing community-based programs across our three regions. You'll identify key focus areas — such as Youth, Women, CALD, First Nations, and Mental Health — and lead initiatives that foster empowerment, inclusion and sustainable outcomes.

Your days will be diverse, combining strategy, collaboration and storytelling — from writing funding submissions and evaluation reports, to leading youth-focused committees and building partnerships with local organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a yearly calendar of community programs across all regions
  • Lead program evaluations, collating feedback, evidence, and outcomes to report to the Department and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare written responses, service delivery assessments and evidence for compliance and performance requirements
  • Research, identify and apply for new funding opportunities (NDIS, local/state government, and community initiatives)
  • Chair or participate in youth-focused committees, and drive collaborative projects with local partners as Lead Provider
  • Communicate outcomes, success stories and learnings across the business

About You

  • You're proactive, community-minded and results-focused, with the ability to turn ideas into action. You'll bring:
  • Strong experience in Employment Services or Community Programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of compliance, funding and performance frameworks
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve sustainable outcomes
