About The Role
Join us as our Quality Manager, where you'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence across Engineers Australia. In this role, you'll lead the development and delivery of our Quality Management Framework, encompassing quality systems, strategy, compliance, performance monitoring, and business improvement initiatives. With a collaborative and evidence-based approach, you'll partner with teams across the organisation to embed quality practices, manage risk, and build capability through coaching and training.

Location

This role can be based at any of our offices nationally and offers a hybrid working model, with at least 2 days per week in the office.

In This Role You Will

  • Develop and manage the implementation of a Quality Management function under the supervision of the Head of Risk, Compliance & Quality,
  • Progressively embed the Quality Management System (QMS) and its principles across the organisation to ensure improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes
  • Build organisational quality capability and awareness through coaching, training, and partnership with business units, leadership, and executives.
  • Coordinate QMS audits and reviews, manage non-conformances, and focus on continual improvements.
  • Implement and maintain a quality performance framework to track, report, and analyse progress against quality objectives, KPIs, and risk controls.

Here's What We're Looking For

  • Experience and/or qualifications in Quality Management, preferably in a member-led organisation, with demonstrated application of quality and business improvement principles.
  • Ability to drive innovation and implement creative, efficient, and effective solutions to complex organisational challenges.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including coaching, building awareness, and influencing teams at all levels.
  • Proven resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Proficiency in quality measurement, performance monitoring, continuous improvement techniques, and data/statistical analysis.
  • Relevant certifications or experience in areas such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, risk management, digital transformation, compliance, audits, and embedding quality management systems.
