Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role construction manager located in Canberra and surrounds. The construction manager will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensure work is done safely and efficiently, coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and maintain project timelines. Additionally, the construction manager will handle material procurement, ensure quality control, and communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing construction projects and supervising on-site work
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with project management software
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Relevant trade qualifications and/or experience
  • Experience in kitchen, bathroom, and laundry renovations is a plus
