Position Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Quality Analyst in the vibrant city of Perth, Australia, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. With a focus on automation and an 'automate everything' approach, you'll leverage your 5 to 10 years of experience in quality code, source control, and continuous integration and delivery. Your expertise in SOC2 or ISO27001 compliance, antivirus software, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners will be crucial as you design solutions that meet both internal and external requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams and external cyber security providers to uphold the highest standards of software quality. If you possess strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, this permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of Information Technology.

About The Role

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand internal and external requirements and help the team design solutions to satisfy these.
  • Identify and address security vulnerabilities in software products.
  • Manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and collaborate with external cybersecurity providers.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC2 or ISO27001 standards and practices.
  • Utilize knowledge of quality code, source control, continuous integration, and delivery to enhance software quality.
  • Implement an 'automate everything' approach to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Work with antivirus software, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners to maintain high security standards.
  • Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Engage in analytical problem-solving and demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with teams to achieve project goals.

About the candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality code, source control, continuous integration, and delivery.
  • Proven experience in automation with an 'automate everything' approach.
  • Experience with SOC2 or ISO27001 compliance and standards.
  • Ability to manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Experience with antivirus software, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
