In this role, you'll be responsible for defining and implementing a vision that brings together tools, APIs, services, and hosting offerings for the benefit of internal and customer operations and administration roles. You'll work to ensure we maintain a maximally serviceable platform that provides clear and usable points of integration into clients' broader IT ecosystems while also developing unique capabilities that benefit clients who adopt fully integral offerings which are designed to work better together. You'll collaborate across organizational boundaries to bring new ideas and enhanced solution capabilities to market, covering new observability and self-service capabilities, expanded infrastructure options tailored to customers' evolving needs, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the direction for our hosting, platform services, and observability solutions
- Cultivate a strong understanding of customer needs, the competitive environment, and the market forces required to launch your solutions successfully.
- Conceptualize new and valuable offerings which are complementary to our core business, conduct industry research, and collaborate with other Product Managers, Software Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to hone business requirements and create scalable solutions that can be delivered to a wide range of customers.
- Develop and execute product strategy, messaging, and launch of solutions that support the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Follow your solutions into production to ensure they're generating the anticipated value and learn about further opportunities for refinement
- Analyze market opportunities, anticipate industry direction, evaluate the feasibility and financial justification for new products and/or new releases of existing products, and identify requirements for future and current products in the context of the company's strengths and capabilities, technologies, quality, costs, customer interactions, and marketplace demands.
- Define target prospects and assist sales in lead generation and solution identification
- Oversee your offerings through the full product lifecycle
- Work closely with functional teams, including development and operations, to ensure the appropriate processes are created and followed in order to meet financial, timing, and customer expectations as your offerings roll out to customers.
Minimum Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a technical field
- 7+ years as a professional leading projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgment, resourcefulness, and self-initiative
- Knowledge of overall product development processes and marketing strategy
- Demonstrated expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Strong ability to communicate professionally with internal and external contacts
- Strong analytical skills and ability to remain highly organized in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining strict attention to detail
It would be great if you also had:
- Direct experience in an operational role at a retail broker, bank, or financial institution dealing with foreign exchange, commodities, or cryptocurrency asset classes
- Experience overseeing observability, maintainability, and administrative self-service of SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of the contributing IT factors necessary for consistent delivery of high-bandwidth, low-latency SaaS services
- Prior experience as a Product Manager
- Advanced degree, ideally in business or finance
