Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Wurf Resourcing Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

With a well-established profile, this stable, third generation, new build and structural refurbishment builder is offering an opportunity for an energetic, driven and motivated Contract Administrator to join their organisation.

Whilst the position will include further training, development and the opportunity to be mentored by more experienced peers, you will be required to deliver formal contract administration services, therefore requiring a minimum of 4-5 years' experience. Experienced Contract Administrators are also encouraged to apply.

The position will appeal to someone looking for a culture representing family values, "old-school" integrity and a relationship centric approach to clients.

Ideally, you will have experience across structural (not just fitout) and services trades, in addition to design-driven projects. Works will include new builds up to $20M and refurbishments involving structural rectification across a range of works including breweries, schools, community infrastructure, industrial works, laboratories and wider commercial works (non-residential).

Candidates that represent a high degree of aptitude, commitment and motivation, once in the role, will be afforded promotion opportunities into jrn project management and project management ranks in the coming years. Career CA's will also be catered for with advancement into senior procurement ranks.

It is expected that applicants will be able to meet the following pre-requisites;

  • Completed a trade Bachelor of Construction Management or an associated degree.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years formal contract administration experience.
  • Experience in the commercial build environment by way of employment with a principal contractor or major subcontractor.
  • Applicants are requested to please detail projects delivered in their CV or attached portfolio.
  • Exceptional time management (organisational) and communication skills; written and oral.
  • The desire to develop a long-term, stable career pathway in the mid-tier building sector.

With a strong commitment to its people and culture, you will receive direct guidance from a number of experienced project management, design and procurement professionals within the company, as you further develop your procurement, cost reporting, forecasting, programming and contract administration capabilities.

If you are seeking an organisation who delivers quality projects in an environment where each member is valued for their professional and social contribution, please apply to Wurf Resourcingvia the Apply Button below or call for more information.
