Experience

We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Contract Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced project environment. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar commercial role
  • Previous experience in the Brisbane commercial fitout or construction industry
  • Proven capability in managing project budgets and cost forecasting with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong working knowledge of Procore (essential) and other contracts/accounts management software
  • Clear, confident communication skills - both written and verbal
  • A solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to support hybrid roles or develop toward Project Management
  • Experience working with a Principal Contractor and understanding of contractual obligations
Responsibilities

As Contract Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our project delivery team by:

  • Reporting to the Operations and Project Managers with consistent project updates
  • Administering all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects
  • Managing Procore documentation, including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and correspondence
  • Coordinating and attending site and PCG meetings
  • Assisting in procurement, negotiation, and letting of subcontractor packages
  • Managing head contract and subcontractor variations and claims
  • Reviewing and administering progress claims and payments
  • Overseeing project close-out procedures including final accounts and handover documentation
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
