About the Role
The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept through completion. This includes managing event logistics, budgets, vendor relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:

Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.

Coordinate all logistical aspects of events including venue selection, catering, décor, transportation, and technology.

Ensure events are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
-
Source and negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and service providers.

Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners to define event objectives and expectations.

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure quality and service standards are met.
Marketing & Promotion:

Collaborate with marketing to create promotional plans for events.

Manage event websites, registration systems, and communications.

Support branding and messaging to align with event goals.
On-site Event Management:

Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.

Manage event staff and volunteers.

Serve as the primary point of contact during events to handle issues as they arise.
Post-Event Evaluation:

Conduct post-event debriefings and evaluations.

Prepare reports on event outcomes, including attendee feedback and ROI.

Identify opportunities for improvement in future events.
About You
To succeed in this role you will showcase the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in event planning or a similar role.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
