What you'll do

Permanent full time opportunity to provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the Office of the Chief Allied Health Officer work program, particularly in relation to statewide Health Practitioner research capacity building and allied health digital transformation agendas through employing high-level systems understanding and experience.

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • A mandatory requirement of this role is a formal qualification in an eligible Health Practitioner profession (as listed in the Health Practitioners and Dental Officers (Queensland Health Certified Agreement (no from a recognised tertiary institution which will permit registration with the relevant professional registration board, or eligibility for membership/accreditation with a professional association.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead the implementation of major state-wide strategic programs and initiatives that meets organisational priorities and objectives.
  • Demonstrates high level strategic leadership to drive and deliver strategic priorities and objectives, build high level strategic partnerships and collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to oversee the implementation of statewide allied health research and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrates ability to coordinate the allocation and management of funding and manage large, complex contracts and research agreements including monitoring and reporting of funding outcomes.
