Health and Wellbeing Queensland is looking to build a talent pool of enthusiastic and qualified HP3 Health Practitioners to support current and future vacancies.

We are looking for Health Practitioners to assist in the design and implementation of health promotion strategies and interventions to improve health and prevent illness.

Your opportunity

As a Health Practitioner you will be involved in:

  • Applying preventive health knowledge to participate and assist in the planning and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Applying knowledge and skills in chronic disease prevention to co-design and develop tools and resources to health consumers, health professionals and other key stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the analysis of sensitive and complex issues, liaising, consulting and negotiating with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Applying project management skills to support the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of prevention strategies and initiatives
