As the Allied Health Practitioner Senior you will deliver high level professional clinical mental health services as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to optimise psycho-social outcomes for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders, and their families and carers.
The Clinical Nurse (CN) role provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of patients/residents/clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met

About the Team

Under Better Care Together, and consistent with the Bilateral Schedule on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Queensland, the Queensland Government has committed to support the employment of dedicated, specialist mental health, alcohol and other drug (MHAOD) clinicians by Hospital and Health Services (HHS) to provide consultation liaison and clinical in‑reach services to all headspace centres in Queensland.

About the Role

In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values.

You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6 Band 1 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
