AJ Technology Services is an information technology, security and communications company that services the whole of the Northern Territory, western Queensland and Timor Leste for over 20 years from our offices in Darwin, Toowoomba, Brisbane and Dili.

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Onsite Support Officer for an immediate start in Darwin, NT. The role is responsible for onsite desktop break/fix support for a large Northern Territory client. You will be working with a large, supportive team and we offer an attractive work package to the successful applicant with career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform requests for installation and re-location of end user computing hardware such as desktops, laptops, terminals;
  • Provide remote and onsite desktop services and higher level technical troubleshooting;
  • Provide desktop break/fix support in the client's ICT Environment for users including desktop and laptop computers; a range of peripheral devices; printers and MFDs; mobile phones and mobility devices; and operating system and applications;
  • Prioritise workload to assist engineers with high severity incidents, provide updates and manage tickets to resolution;
  • Provide a high level of technical support to customers in relation to all relevant EUC systems;
  • Provide guidelines for client training in the use and maintenance of EUC systems and facilities.

Skills / Experience

  • Experience in working onsite at a client's premise, delivering a range of break/fix solutions
  • Proven customer contact skills in a similar environment
  • A team player who is looking to grow their own skills as well as those of the team
  • Experience in networks and patching
  • Experience in routing, switching, wireless and firewall would be beneficial
  • Must be an Australia Citizen and have the ability to provide a clean police clearance and apply and attain a Working with Children card
