Company Description

Kinfolk Content works with purpose led brands bringing their products & services to life through marketing backed photography, film & content. Based in Yarraville at our Studio, our work is a combination of studio and on location shoots, predominantly wellness, lifestyle/fashion and beauty brands.

Led by Julia Forté ), we are looking for a casual assistant to support Julia & work alongside our other team members preparing & assisting with shoots.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Photography Assistant located in Melbourne, VIC. The Photography Assistant will be responsible for assisting with photo shoots, setting up lighting, organising and maintaining equipment, and organising post production tasks. Day-to-day tasks will also include supporting the lead photographer in various studio activities, coordinating with clients, and ensuring a smooth workflow during sessions.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lighting techniques
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong Photography skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Proficiency in Photo Retouching and Image Editing is a plus
  • Experience in a studio environment is a plus

Ideal for a graduate with 2-3 years experience looking for some regular hours.
