About Us
The Ladelle Group is a leading name in homewares and lifestyle products, with a footprint across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. We partner with some of Australia's biggest retailers and connect directly with consumers - always with the same goal: delivering products people love. What sets us apart? Compelling product ranges, meaningful brands, exceptional service, and a team culture built on passion, energy, and care.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Product Manager to support our Senior Product Manager in supporting the product development and buying functions across The Ladelle Group's portfolio of brands, in particular the Ashdene brand.
This role provides hands-on experience in the full product lifecycle - from sourcing and supplier management, through to product launch and ongoing performance. Working closely with Senior Product Managers and cross-functional teams, this role ensures innovative, trend-driven, and commercially viable products are delivered to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Product and Buying teams with product development, sourcing, and range planning.
- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to obtain quotations, manage sampling, and ensure quality and timelines are met.
- Assist in the preparation of costing sheets, product data entry, and raising purchase orders.
- Assist with planning and visual merchandise of showrooms and trade fairs.
- Contribute to creative briefs for design projects, packaging, and photography.
- Support the production of catalogues, promotional materials, and editorial photography.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform product and buying decisions.
- Work collaboratively across Product, Sales, Design, and Procurement teams to deliver successful outcomes.
About You
- Experience in product management, buying, retail management, sales administration, or a similar role (desirable).
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to learn.
- A critical thinker who can balance creativity with commercial understanding.
- A collaborative team player who communicates effectively and contributes positively to team culture.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and motivated to grow within the product function.
- Hardworking and versatile, able to move between office tasks and hands-on product merchandising requirements.

At Ladelle, our values guide how we work together and with our customers:
- We Talk and Act Straight – communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully.
