We produce fresh sausages and burgers, sold to supermarkets and food service outlets across the country.

About the role

We are currently seeking experienced machine operators to join our production team.

  • Operate modern automated machinery.
  • Optimising machine operation for product quality and output.
  • Troubleshooting machine issues and reporting to the maintenance team as required.
  • Follow GMP and food hygiene requirements.

Casual position with full time positions to be discussed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating mixing, filling, sealing and labelling lines
  • Operating to the production schedule
  • Maintain a safe workplace
  • Machinery assembly and disassembly
  • Quality checks and follow GMP.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role:

  • Must be reliable and committed
  • Must be physically fit
  • Must have transport to/from work
  • Be willing to learn new skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced production environment
  • Must be experienced in machine operation or similar
  • Able to troubleshoot and identify problems.

Experience that would be beneficial include:

  • Previous experience in food or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience in machine problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Experience in meat processing
  • GMP, HACCP or food safety certificates
  • Experience with labelling and packaging machines or food operations
  • Forklift license
