At Perryman's Bakery we are passionate about producing high-quality gingerbread that is distributed nationwide. We're committed to continuous improvement and delivering excellence across our small operation in Brompton. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Production Team Leader who is eager to take the next step in their career.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with food manufacturing experience who is ready to move into a leadership role. If you're passionate about the food industry, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy leading by example, we'd love to hear from you


Key Responsibilities

As our Production Team Leader, you will:

  • Operate various food manufacturing equipment
  • Ensure smooth operations via great communication and problem solving
  • Oversee the daily production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Support the training and development of new team members
  • Assist in troubleshooting production line issues and implement improvements
  • Ensure all health, safety, and quality control guidelines are followed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • previous experience in a food production or bakery setting
  • A genuine desire to take on leadership responsibilities and grow within the company
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Understanding of safety and food handling standards
