McAdam Siemon Business Advisors is currently seeking applications for full time Accountants in our Forest Glen office.

About us

McAdam Siemon Business Advisors are a progressive independent firm of Certified Practising Accountants with offices on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane. We provide a range of business services and tax advice for small-to-medium businesses in a variety of industries across Queensland, and we also offer bookkeeping services through our incorporated company, The Bookkeeping Collective.

The role

  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements
  • Liaising with clients, ATO and other regulatory bodies
  • Providing tax effective outcomes
  • Exposure to tax planning
  • Support to senior staff

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • A degree in Accounting
  • Public Practice experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prepare accounts for various entities to review stage
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently to meet deadlines
  • An enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and managing challenging engagements
  • A "team player" attitude
  • Experience with Xero
