Technical Sales
· Developing and implementing sales strategies for Roytec's product suite, to meet or exceed agreed company revenue and market share targets.
· Driving the sales and success of Roytec's product offerings, ensuring that growth objectives are met while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
· Collaborating with the Divisional Sales Managers, Engineering, Contracts, Marketing and Business Development teams to ensure that equipment solutions offered meet customer needs.
· Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies to improve sales performance.
· Participating in the company's forecasting, and budgeting processes, and providing commentary on sales performance.
· Tender follow-up with customers to provide reliable sales forecast updates and project execution timelines for resource allocation.
· Minimum of 8+ years of technical sales experience is required.
Business Development
· Identifying and pursuing business opportunities for Roytec's product suite.
· Conduct laboratory, pilot plant testwork and plant audits in relevant industries such as mineral processing, water treatment, and industrial sectors.
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mineral processing or water treatment industries is required.
· Technical product presentations to customers and the company's executive team.
· Attendance at conferences, shows, marketing events and exhibitions.
PROCESS ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
Testwork
· Assess client RFQ to determine and define the scope of work for a testwork campaign and generate a Testwork Proposal which details the deliverables.
· Perform laboratory scale and pilot scale testwork as per standard procedure and standard documentation specifically to (but not limited to) the following unit operations:
· Advanced expertise in hands-on laboratory testwork is required.
o High-Rate / High-Density Thickeners.
o Conventional / Pinned-Bed / Dynamic Bed Clarifiers.
o Vacuum (belt and disc) / Pressure (plate & frame and tower) Filtration.
o Flocculant make up and screening.
o Screening.
o Flotation Cells.
· Perform sample characterization.
· Compile testwork reports to accurately convey test results achieved for purposes of equipment sizing, selection, specification, costing as well as generation of Process Warranty Statements.
· Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
Plant Audit
· Conduct plant audits at customer sites to assess equipment performance, efficiency and possible areas for improvement.
· Assess unit operation performance and determine whether the specific unit operation is achieving the warranted process parameters / identify the factors which limit the unit operation performance.
· Perform site audit with specific knowledge of:
o Conventional / High-Rate / High-Density / High-Compression Thickening.
o Conventional / Pinned-Bed / Dynamic Bed Clarification.
o Vacuum Belt / Ceramic Disc / Pressure (plate & frame and tower) Filtration.
o Flotation.
o Heavy duty screens including banana, flip-flow and linear motion screening
o Vibrating and High frequency screening.
o Attrition Mills.
o Magnetic Separators.
Equipment Commissioning
· Complete equipment check and punch lists, completion certificates and commissioning of the companies' equipment/plant at customer sites, with specific expertise in:
o High-Rate / High-Density Thickening.
o Conventional / Pinned-Bed / Dynamic Bed Clarification.
o Vacuum Belt / Ceramic Disc / Pressure (plate & frame and tower) Filtration.
o Flotation.
o Heavy duty screens including banana, flip-flow and linear motion screening
o Vibrating and High frequency screening.
o Attrition Mills.
Magnetic Separators.
· Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
