About the role

Currently in a large period of growth, we need an Experienced Business Development Manager to provide essential business growth and diversification activity, execute strategic business planning, and maintain our valued client relationships. The role is crucial is ensuring business continuity, and your ability to think long term and strategically is absolute.

You will have complete autonomy in the role and work closely with business unit Managers to execute strategic plans, source new business, and contribute toward the planned pipeline of opportunity presented.

About you

As a Business Development Manager, you will be required to demonstrate the below experience and skills necessary to be successful in the role:

  • You have an in-depth understanding of the construction, mining, renewables or oil & gas industry, (electrical knowledge advantageous).
  • You have the current and future investment plans of major and key clients at the forefront of your approach.
  • You are driven, self motivated, and strive for success at every opportunity.
  • You have demonstrated experience in client relationship building and opportunity generation in previous similar roles.
  • You are not afraid of tough conversations, are persistent, while remaining humble and considered.
