About Us

Perry's Fuel Distributors were established in 1949 and has been family owned and operated since its establishment. We currently own, operate or supply over 85 retail sites where our customers can purchase fuel, with a fleet of delivery vehicles and a number of regional fuel depots.

We are an Australian, family-owned fuel distribution company, operating across South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, Northern Territory, Western Australia and New South Wales.

The Role

As a key part of our growth strategy we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our sales team – the right candidate will be passionate, love cold calls, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a core customer service focus. This role will be based in central Queensland and report to our National Sales Manager.

A significant component of the role will be generating new customer sales and the successful candidate will need to take an active role in the identification of opportunities and the development and presentation of proposals. The remuneration package will include a retainer and commission structure to reward success.

We offer a work vehicle, telephone, laptop and training and the ability to travel regionally will be essential.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, take pride in their appearance and possess strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ideally you will possess knowledge of different types of petroleum and lubricant application, be well versed in Salesforce, Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) and have sales experience however full training will be provided for the right candidate.

A background in the transportation, mining, earthmoving or farming industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
