Mackay, Queensland, Australia Vex Engineering Services Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

This role involves identifying and solving our clients challenges, collaborating with our drafting and engineering teams, preparing quotes, and coordinating with our workshop to deliver high-quality products. You will also assist in cataloguing new designs and supporting marketing and sales initiatives. This is a client focused role requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Identify client needs and provide tailored design and manufacturing solutions.
  • Collaborating with drafting and engineering teams to develop practical designs.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive proposals, quotation and presentations for client projects.
  • Co-ordinate with the workshop team to ensure timely, high quality production.
  • Monitor and analyse competitors activities to stay ahead in the market and adapt strategy proposals accordingly.
  • Catalogue new product designs and maintain an organised product database.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs and streamline operations.
  • Prepare monthly report on manufacturing activities, progress, and results to present to senior management and stakeholders.
