An exciting opportunity has become available for a Part Time Medical Receptionist working 3 days per week ( days may be flexible but Friday is required) in a busy Cardiology Clinic. This role will be mainly based at Cabrini Hospital but may be required to work in our clinic at Noble Park to cover staff leave.

We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Medical Receptionist who can work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and administrative skills. Previous medical receptionist experience advantageous. This position may suit students pursuing studies in health care, SEN's or other individuals with some experience in a health care environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welcoming patients and providing excellent front desk service

Answering phones, managing enquiries and scheduling appointments using Clinic 2 Cloud medical software.

Managing referrals from external providers

Supporting Cardiologists and nursing staff with administrative tasks

Communicating with other specialists from other hospitals/clinics

Patient billing and processing claims to medicare

Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times

Scanning documents into patient files

Willingness to undertake training to learn how to fit holter monitors, blood pressure monitors and Heartbugs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
