About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Time Chef to join our talented culinary team at the D'Aguilar Hotel in D'Aguilar QLD 4514. This is a full-time role in our vibrant hotel.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing a variety of high-quality dishes for our restaurant and catering menus
  • Assisting with menu development and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation
  • Supervising and training kitchen staff to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  • Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a similar hospitality setting
  • Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a diploma or certificate in commercial cookery
  • Proficiency in a range of cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and baking
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
