Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams. A permanent full time position is available to work at the Chatswood store.

The paint industry is a specialised industry; we pride ourselves on providing accurate and professional advice to our customers, both trade and retail. Sales and customer service skills are an essential part of the role. An interest in colour and paint projects is preferred but previous experience in the industry is not required as training will be provided.

The current position is available for immediate start for an enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking an opportunity to develop their career. In return, you will receive a competitive above Award Salary plus Super, and ongoing industry leading training, access to our employee assistance programs as well as a uniform. Store hours are 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 6:00am to 2:00pm Saturday.

Responsibilities include

  • Following the "Inspirations Way" procedures
  • Providing exemplary customer service to both retail and trade customers
  • Tinting and mixing paint; colour advice and matching
  • Provide product knowledge in areas of paint while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising
  • Store presentation, stock management and housekeeping
  • Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

Experience / Attributes

  • Demonstrated customer service and customer focus
  • Well presented
  • Able to contribute and work in a dynamic small team environment
  • Proven sales experience
  • Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints
  • Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems
  • Honest, reliable and punctual
  • Current driver's licence preferred
  • This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs
