Introduction:
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of 8 Contract Administrators across multiple live projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a systems-driven, process-oriented environment and has strong procurement and financial management skills.
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage: Supervise, guide, and support a team of 8 Contract Administrators working across various live projects. Ensure tasks are efficiently completed and align with project goals.
Procurement Oversight: Manage and streamline procurement processes across all ongoing projects. Identify and address gaps or inefficiencies in procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
Reporting & Strategy: Collect and analyze procurement data, then present findings to Production Manager, to inform strategic decision-making and improve workflow control.
Financial Management: Demonstrate strong financial acumen to manage multiple project budgets, track expenses, and ensure effective allocation of resources.
Systems and Process Improvement: Focus on refining and improving existing processes to optimize efficiency. Help implement and uphold standard operating procedures to ensure smooth operations across the team and projects.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with CAs, setting daily targets and holding team members accountable for completing procurement cycles. Support and motivate your team to achieve high standards.
Skills and Experiences:
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering or Project management, with demonstrated end to end CA experience in commercial construction (apartments highly regarded)
Contract Administration Expertise: Minimum intermediate-level knowledge of contract administration processes, with a proven ability to manage and execute procurement duties across projects.
Strong Financial Knowledge: Must have solid experience managing and controlling project budgets. Attention to financial detail is critical.
Process-Driven & Systems-Oriented: Strong preference for candidates who thrive on building and maintaining structured processes and systems that improve project performance and outcomes.
Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team. Strong communication skills and an ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
Project Procurement Knowledge: Although you will be working with Valeo-specific processes, a deep understanding of procurement procedures is essential.
Desire for Contract Administration, Not Project Management: Ideal candidates should enjoy contract administration and procurement and should not be seeking to transition into project management roles.
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and fit for the role. This is 12 month contract with a real opportunity to become a permanent role.
