Your Team's Impact
The FactSet Asia Pacific team is responsible for the growth and support of FactSet's business across the broader Asia Pacific region. The Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) territory has demand for sophisticated analytical tools, unique content, and workflow solutions that provide excellent growth opportunities across the client base and prospect universe.

The successful candidate will join the ANZ Sales team to exceed sales and client service goals by expanding FactSet's footprint with our existing clients, and devising strategies for client retention. The role is hands-on, engaged with clients. We are seeking an ambitious, motivated, collaborative and deal driven Sales Representative to join us in Sydney and to be responsible for accelerating sales across Australia.

The individual will be expected to work independently while building strong relationships internally and externally. The right candidate will have strong work ethic, high levels of commitment, while displaying sound organizational skills

What You'll Do

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the FactSet latest solutions to facilitate conversations and product demonstrations to new and existing clients; work closely with FactSet SMEs to demonstrate detailed FactSet capabilities
  • Establish relationships with C-level contacts, global department heads and key people with influence at each firm
  • Work with Specialty Sales and Consulting to develop and execute a strategy to maximize client satisfaction and retention
  • Become knowledgeable about the client's internal business areas, architecture, operations, and applications in order to manage expectations and develop trust/commitment with key decision makers
  • Actively working with the consulting team to manage product adoption and retention
  • Work with Product Strategy to ensure a solid 2-way feedback loop for product and solutions enhancements, development and ideas
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry, current market trends and economic factors in order to maintain a competitive edge and form sales strategies
  • Diligently maintain the sales cycle from prospecting to trial to closing new clients
  • Mentor and coach sales team of Account Executives and Institutional Sales Executives

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8-12+ years of experience with proven client facing and sales experiences
  • Strong technical skills
  • Deep FactSet product knowledge is highly desired
  • Broad and up-to-date knowledge of the financial technology industry including trends and market demands
  • Proven ability to identify sales opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Ability to build relationships with FactSet executives and CXOs of clients and prospects
  • Enthusiasm, desire and a strong sense of initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations
