We are looking for qualified chefs for our busy kitchen at The Boat Shed Restaurant, Darling Point Marine Agents Pty Ltd

The Boat Shed is a popular a la carte restaurant perched on the edge of the Maroochy River at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast renowned for our quality food and service and amazing views.

A trade qualified experienced chef

  • Minimum 2 years experience as qualifed chef
  • Proficient cooking ability in all sections of the kitchen - pans, grill, larder, fryers, desserts
  • Specifically seeking Pan and Grill superstars
  • Preparation of proteins, salads, sauces for service
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Trade Qualified
  • Receiving of deliveries and checking quality and quantities are correct
  • Assist in menu planning, ordering and quality of dishes are maintained
  • Follow all food health and safety regulations
  • Plating and presenting meals as per chef and managements direction
  • Food design for specials
  • Availability over weekends and evenings a must
  • Direct junior staff
