Nambour RSL Club is seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our Altro Cafe team on a full-time basis, where you'll craft delicious, quality baked items and meals while honing your culinary expertise in a modern and professional setting.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and cook consistently high-quality cafe-style meals and baked items using traditional techniques and fresh ingredients.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining excellence in presentation and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate and refine menu offerings.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a qualified Chef in a busy casual dining setting.
  • Passion for baking and pastry, with a flair for beautiful presentation.
  • Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
