About the Role

We're seeking experienced Insurance Estimators to join a respected national builder delivering residential and light commercial repair work across Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.

The work is based from the Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast - with the bulk in and around Brisbane. For the right candidate, there's potential for a desktop-based estimating role working from the office (or remotely) instead of attending sites.

If you're confident in scoping, pricing, and managing stakeholder expectations, you'll find a busy but rewarding pipeline, a collaborative team, and strong systems to back you up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope and estimate insurance repair projects (residential/light commercial)
  • Prepare accurate quotes in line with insurer requirements
  • Liaise with adjusters, clients, and internal teams
  • Review trade reports, photos, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure timely submission of estimates and smooth project handover

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in insurance estimating or assessing
  • Strong understanding of insurance repair processes and standards
  • Familiarity with scoping tools (Buildxact, ScopeLogic, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and clear communication skills
  • Knowledge of building codes and current construction pricing
